Our annual Lake Powell trip is our kids' idea of paradise. It was great to get away and kick off the summer with swimming, boating, waterskiing (which I even attempted this year), sliding, eating, playing games, relaxing and digging in the sand. This year we went in June and the water was cold and dirty since the lake was still filling up. We also had a couple days of wind, which equals sand, storms. We were wishing we had rented a tent trailer, but we still had lots of fun. We are grateful to the Hendrickson family for hosting us.

This is just before they all tumbled backward in the lake with the tube on top of them. I held the camera above my head while running into the lake with my sundress on, trying to fish Sam out from under the tube. Audrey didn't slide again.

That last picture is AWESOME! :) Wow. It looks like you guys had a fabulous time! I have never been to Lake Powell.
