We did celebrate the 4th this year by going swimming and to a family BBQ with fireworks. The kids loved it. Later in the week we went to a neighborhood parade. A firetruck sprayed everyone at the park afterward. We were soaked. Happy 4th!
How fun! Janelle said you had come and I missed being able to see you and the kids. :( But it looked like it was so much fun in Washington. I love family visits!

That sounds like so much fun! My kids would love to have a fire truck hose them down... this heat is killing us!
