My Little Einstein

Paul is a little scientist in the making. He started asking "why" already, but it's been fun trying to explain things to him and watching him try to figure it all out. We talked about how grass grows, why it rains, what happens during the seasons, and where rain comes from.
He was playing with his instruments and he started banging the drum with different things and then he covered it with a blanket and banged. He seemed confused as to why it didn't make the same sound.
He asked about the little knobby bone on the ankle. I told him it was his ankle-bone. Then he asked, "what it do?" So I told him it makes your foot move around. He was quite excited about that and had to touch everyone's bone and see their foot turn. He loves to ask what every little thing he sees is and then say, "what it do?"
He was knocking on Sam's bedroom wall and told me that his room was on the other side. He has a really great understanding of space and location. It amazes me.
It's been so fun having him grow up and soak up all the information he learns.
